Dr. Nahshon Nicks joins the CRC Board with a distinguished career as a CEO, educator, and community advocate dedicated to the empowerment of Jacksonville and Northeast Florida. With a Doctorate of Ministry from New York Theological Seminary and a Master of Leadership and Management, Dr. Nicks brings a unique blend of spiritual stewardship and executive precision to the organization.
Throughout his career, Dr. Nicks has demonstrated a masterful ability to oversee complex organizations with multimillion-dollar budgets. As the Founder and CEO of Fresh Word Ministries and former CEO of the First Coast Leadership Foundation, he has been at the forefront of developing impactful programs in civic engagement, youth development, and healthcare initiatives. His leadership is defined by a commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), ensuring that organizational cultures are as inclusive as they are effective.
Beyond his executive roles, Dr. Nicks is a deeply rooted community collaborator. He has served on numerous human services boards, including Jacksonville Area Legal Aid, and has provided emotional and spiritual support as a Chaplain at Memorial Hospital. His ability to forge strategic alliances and mobilize resources ensures that CRC remains positioned for long-term sustainability.
