A Fresh Opportunity During Incarceration &
Bridging the Gap to Community Recovery
For 35 years, the Matrix House Program has served as a vital bridge between incarceration and community reintegration for individuals in the Duval County Jail. Matrix House is in immediate proximity to the John E. Goode Pre-trial Detention Facility on E Adams Street. This central downtown location allows us to bridge the gap between justice-involved services and professional, CARF-accredited psychiatric care, ensuring a seamless transition from detention to stable, community-based recovery
Through a strategic partnership with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office (JSO) and the City of Jacksonville (COJ), we provide comprehensive, evidence-based substance use disorder treatment and intensive case management designed to break the cycle of recidivism.
Our collaborative approach ensures that participants receive individualized care—ranging from behavioral health support and relapse prevention to proactive reentry planning—fostering an environment where justice-involved individuals can rebuild their lives, reconnect with their families, and contribute positively to the Jacksonville community.
