Is my donation tax deductible?

Yes!  CRC Enterprises is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization and all donations are 100% tax deductible if you are a taxpayer who itemizes deductions on federal tax returns.  Just keep your receipt and itemized donation list for your tax records.  IRS regulations require you to provide your own valuation of charitable gifts other than cash.

What do you do with my donation if you don't sell it in the store?

All excess, unsold merchandise is donated to a charitable organization in the Jacksonville area.

What percentage of the store's profits benefit CRC?

100% - after expenses.

Will you pick up my donations?

Absolutely!  Just call our free pickup service at 904 355-2571.

Can I drop off my donation at the store?

Yes.  We will gladly accept donations made in person at the store or CRC.  Please don't leave items before or after store hours.

Will you repair my broken appliances or damaged furniture?

Unfortunately, we are only able to do very minor appliance and furniture repairs.  It is always preferable to donate appliances in good working condition and furniture that is not badly torn or stained.

Can I donate out-of-date clothing?

Absolutely.  Vintage clothing from all eras is very popular and welcomed.

Do you accept donations of cars and boats?

Your car, truck, van, boat or airplane in working condition can be donated to CRCE.  Unlike many other organizations that will accept automobile donations, 100% of the profit received from the sale of any vehicle is returned to the Agency and used to provide services to CRC's consumer family.

CRC's mission is to help people with disabilities or other disadvantages achieve and maintain employment, and we do so by creating employment opportunities, placing people in jobs, and providing training and counseling to make the transition to independence easier.
